   @peter I don’t disagree. The last thing we need are a bunch of smaller Mark Zuckerbergs running around. But that can be different if people from the communities themselves are running those servers (as we’re seeing happen in parts of the fediverse). Longer term, though, there’s a reason I’m working on the Small Web where (hopefully) we’ll all have our own individual places and have the tools to engage with our various communities directly.
