   @WashedOutGundamPilot "Synecdoche" is not the name of the logical fallacy, it's the "fallacy of division". A synecdoche is when you use division properly, for metaphorical or rhetorical purposes. Which is extra funny, because here it implies all that racism research really is bunk. That mortgage study, in particular, is cleanly explained by "racist" factors, and you have to twist yourself into denying statistics and rejecting how income disparities work to claim otherwise.
