   As Dmitry Orlov once pointed out, most of the US Economy is just Americans overcharging each other for overpriced services
   
   Not only that, but collection agencies, law firms and even investment banks can make a mint by purchasing debts accrued from these services for nearly nothing, and collecting it themselves. A lot of financial institutions also yield huge revenues from servicing debt.
   
   It's parasitism all the way down.
