   “Be quiet” is also “don’t nag”, which falls under having empathy for her man. Like, the other day I came home late, tired, but there was an issue with the water being clogged in the pump so we hardly had any flow. Instead of tasking me like a mommy she just said “oh, yeah, it’s not really running, I was hoping you could fix it in the morning?”

   Her baseline assumption was doing something uncomfortable for herself as long as it took just to give me a comfy return home. Looking out for your other half isn’t that tough, it’s just looking out for them like you would want them to do for you
