   @rlier23 @ArdainianRight @PhenomX6 One problem in our scene, exactly where you wouldn't expect it, is that politics and ideology are thought to be upstream of pre-political things like aesthetics. It's a very left-wing view. Walter Benjamin is no friend to us, but he was right when he said communism is politicized aesthetics but fascism is aestheticized politics. For them, politics comes first and tinges everything; for us, the aesthetic is the prime mover.
