   there's that whole aspect where you can only really judge a dating profile by their looks. this works fine for men because 90% of our rating toward a woman is appearance. but for women, looks are only like 20% of how they rate men. the remaining 80% has to be judged in person with his personality, lifestyle, assets, all that.
   
   but women aren't gonna waste their time talking to/meeting the guy to find any of that out (by default he's a rapist murderer), so they swipe left on 99% of the profiles they see. that's why you gotta portray yourself as rich with a vibrant social life, and your profile has to do all that in the span of 5 seconds because she's gonna get bored.
   
   your cousin's chubby boyfriend is a case where maybe she wouldn't have gone for him if he was a tinder profile, but presumably she got to know him and maybe he's more expressive in private or something. tinder just doesn't work for straight dating. its model literally only works for gay hookups, because although they're fags, Grindr's users are men so they understand how to use the technology as intended.
