   @Terry This is a worthwhile read, good little overview of the level of involvement the feds gave to locals. It's worth reviewing so we know the politics that will decide it. Chances are they'll put your uncle on the board, that adds a new dynamic to rebellion when the only people of the regime are friends & family

   Also funny how they keep moving the goals. "we just need 12 months, kid, no married men, no fathers", then "well we need 18 months, we'll get you home within 6 mo of the war ending" suddenly it's 2.5 years post war and they're extending the drafts to keep you in the grist
