   @MeBigbrain @DEERBLOOD @doctorsex @TrevorGoodchild @nierenstein I'd sooner read a book twice as long about the travails of engineering and installing the turrets on the King George Class. I'm a things guy, not a people guy. It's just a misfire for me.

   I get why it works for the people who like that stuff though, that's always how its fans explain it to me. The fact the sequels all revolve around whether or not his mom was insane at the lighthouse are even more boring.

   Like breaking bad, where it's awesome to people who've never even met someone on meth, people who've never had to deal with the kind of scum the show portrays, it just reminds me of things I hate about real life, and that's not an enjoyable scene for me
