@veff @WoodshopHandman The dissident rw has a terminal case of big-brainism—essentially, "autism (the bad kind)", as you say. Dissident rwers would rather endlessly consume increasingly obscure and increasingly irrelevant ideological details and history of the NDSAP or other fascist movements than dare to create beauty or promote it in society, ironic considering Hitler's own artistic background.
It can't be understated how much the rw in America is anti-art in its temperament. Any of the barriers put in place by the left in its strangle hold on art could be overcome if there wasn't an open hostility to art in conservative circles, which manifests itself with the issue presented in the paragraph above.
Cultural puritanism and the intentional ugliness the with which American conservatism views the world and presents itself are the real enemy to rw art. Conservatism prides itself on being "uncultured", truthfully, an embrace of ugliness and disdain of their own history. It's very telling that the so-called rw art that does get made here is culture war reactionary garbage like "conservative super-hero comics" or idols to Trump and the constitution.
