   @Remi But seeing this comment made me think about a convo we had w/ the girl cousins - someone made a joke about strangers in vans and they laughed at me when I warned them about "talent scouts" as if I were a doddering old man

   They're on guard already, which is good to hear. I'm not sure what changed, the internet is much more well known, it's like girls are in battle footing today, they know about the predation, where 10 years ago they'd scoff at you for trying to warn them about a world of grifts and predators
