   @Goalkeeper @CaptainFuggetaboutit @coolboymew What was that thing that went around a while ago, western companies looking to get into anime not realizing it's a closed loop system and they can't just 'make their own animes and print money'.
   
   It's LN ➡️ Manga ➡️ Anime ➡️ Merch ➡️ LN/Manga & Repeat. The physical copies and merch, mostly merch, are what make it go round, sort of an in-built Black Friday-esque thing, but the reason any of that works is because anime is still beautiful enough that people will spend money on it, and Star Wars is proof they can't get their own IP's to sell merch.
