My girl's susceptible to weebtardation sometimes, because she's been watching this channel about some gookess eating 7/11 zogslop throughout the banner asian countries thinking it "looks sooooo good"

She sends it to me and I'm just grossed out. It's not ALWAYS nasty, but the recipe is usually:

Hang out in a gas station, noisy, solo, smelly, high foot traffic
eat breakroom food like you're a walmart greeter on a 15 minute break
Buy cup of ice for plastic pouch of sugar tea
Bowl of super salty, greasy ramen using their hot water percolator (rarely cleaned, possibly in japan they do)

Then things get funky

Rot-colored tumors of various sorts and description. Generally fermented, pickled, smelly stuff fit for starving peasants in the 1200s, not first worlders in 2024. Bonus points for being brown/green on the outside, but being even LESS appetizing once she bites into it
Low-grade cheese, slimy, room temp, canola oil based
Egg, never done well, always over/underboiled
mystery meats, these too look like tumors. They never look like actual cuts, all either suasage, spam, or assimilated meat scraps formed into an efficiently commercialized shape
