   @Hoss @kuon @WashedOutGundamPilot @Giganova8 Wojak is the original "that feel when" meme, it got huge on 4chan in the early 2010s along with the sad pepe memes as this was when a lot of the userbase was begining to experience huge volumes of depression and melancholy. As time went on they became increasingly suicidal and angry, much like the users. Then around 2014 gamergate and a bunch of other shit happened and you started seeing the crying suicidal wojaks and the smug pepes, which then got picked up by normalfags. Shit became unstable after the trump election and you got lots of mutants and variations until you reach around 2017/8 where you get the explosion of suicidal pink wojaks on /biz/ as well as the bunkerchan chud raid.
   
   Then came /qa/ and you got this toxic pit that started making endless soyjaks.
   
   In a lot of ways it's like a mirror divergance of the old userbase itself with some trooning out and others becoming bizzare ghouls. They all started out as anons.
