It is so easy. LOL. Before binary packages in Linux and Unix, it was common to do `./configure && make && make install`. In fact, I have an old page with over 250+ comments about readers' struggles to install such packages because of dependencies. This meme is about that issue when you tell the user the best way to install a package is: cd directory ./configure make make install You can see shock and disbelief in the brand-new Linux user's face.
