@itsfoss Likely the biggest challenge will be learning the new UI. You can live very easily without having to open a terminal.

@nixCraft 38 years later, still have the passion for coding, but can only express that passion with personal projects. Professional work is a grind but pays very well. My key takeaway? I’m still seeing the new guys make the same mistakes I made as noob. We’re not progressing as a profession, just creating new frameworks and languages.

@nixCraft It actually started at 1, but like line numbers in BASIC, someone realised they needed space to insert a new item at the beginning. So it was originally “intentionally left blank”, but later became the default.

@nixCraft A solid no. I prefer text that I can evaluate in terms of accuracy and fit-for-purpose based on the source. Some random text that may or may not be true is not worth paying for.

@nixCraft same here. Started using it when it was Firebird. It followed me when I moved to Linux and is now my primary browser on Mac. Luckily in work I can choose Firefox or Chrome…so Firefox it is, then
