My worms have been slowing down as the temps drop, so I've started to up their food. I think the extra heat generated from anaerobic breakdown will kick them back into action.

Also cleaned out the grow tent a bit and will be starting seedlings soon. I have enough space that they can grow up a bit in the tent (I'll transplant to solo cups after they outgrow the tray).

I think I'm also going to purchase and plant some asparagus crowns this year. I love asparagus and it's a perennial.

@Bam_Bom @NoBeret @thatlarryshow Woland, you remembered my April fools joke almost a year later! You're one of my favorite trolls. A callback to a joke that long ago is either dedication to the art, or you think I'm funny. I appreciate whichever it is :)

I am aware that backups on the old site are stuck for most with "Compiling your archive..."

I had to adjust the job timeout to 2m for all jobs to prevent total server explosion death. Most backups cannot complete under the 2m limit and subsequently fail.

After the official shutdown, I will put the old site on separate hardware and deal with pulling out the archives for those that really want them.

Until then, please manually archive the things most important to you and hang tight for a while.

Due to the newness of the domain combined with the heavy load from notifications and signups of over 1,000 accounts, the email had been blocked by our mail provider. Reasonably so.

Mastodon lacks the operator controls that a reasonable server would have (for me to force mail off for everyone), so your assistance in turning off email notifications would be greatly appreciated.

And hats off to Jarland and @mxroute, our mail provider (as well as poa.st's). Excellent service and very reasonable. 🙏

And the motive is exactly what he's said it was: he doesn't want people posting nonsense forever tied to the name of the show. But he also didn't boot people for wrongthink, ask me to shut it down, and he didn't pull the plug. So, new instance, new name, problem solved.
