#LibreOffice #foss #opensource #freesoftware
I have a serious question. Will LibreOffice offers ever be a product with batteries included regarding grammar and spell check on a high level? I know that we have a very good spell checking, but I was wondering if there's ever something planned to have a really working grammar and style checking tool like languagetool out of the box.

Is it still maintained? I saw the last commit was in September 2024.

@libreoffice
It is interesting to note that their brand appears to be strong. Even all these year. I met more people during the past few year who know OpenOffice but not libreoffice.Anyway, I am old enough to remember the discussion during the fork. Many were sceptical regarding the license, the development model of LO. Things turned to the good I would say.
And we even have collaboraoffice now.

@libreoffice Just a small wish. #PeerTube as addition to YT would be highly appreciated. Certainly, not only be me. Thanks for your great work.

''Overhauled the Gnumeric import filter to fix bugs and add missing features''
Although, I am not in need for this feature, it is great to know since the #gnumeric development appears a bit stalled. L
