A vulnerability disclosure has been made today for Monero versions v0.14.1.0 to v0.18.2.1, detailed here: https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/8872
Mysu wallet used 0.18.1.2, but has already been updated in v0.4.3 to use Monero 0.18.2.2 which contains the fixes for the decoy selection algorithm for spends made at exactly 10 confirmations.
This update also has some other, app-specific UI fixes and changes, as well as a DNS leak fix for the Monero codebase, detailed here: https://github.com/monero-project/monero/pull/8854
Downloads for 0.4.3 are available at https://mysu.dev for direct APK download, F-Droid, and I2P torrent. -
pokkst (pokkst@xmrposter.club)'s status on Sunday, 14-May-2023 09:28:07 JST pokkst @nosat @jeffcliff Sometime this year (hopefully) LTC MWEB light-wallets will start popping up, which means usage will pick up, and it'll actually be a pretty good privacy tool for places where XMR isn't accepted. Right now since there's practically no usage it is still pretty traceable.
For Bitcoin Cash there's CashFusion coinjoins. In conversation from xmrposter.club permalink -

pokkst (pokkst@xmrposter.club)'s status on Sunday, 12-Feb-2023 04:22:45 JST pokkst @NotMtth @SunMcNukes That makes no sense. Tor/I2P/Lokinet and Nostr are two entirely different use cases.
Tor/I2P/Lokinet are mixnets for anonymizing internet traffic, whereas Nostr is a protocol for decentralized social media/chat and other shit.In conversation from xmrposter.club permalink -

pokkst (pokkst@xmrposter.club)'s status on Tuesday, 31-Jan-2023 09:22:21 JST pokkst @silverpill @Hyolobrika @cjd You are assuming that blocks would always be full, which is not always the case, nor is it healthy for a network, as blocks should never be consistently completely full like they are on BTC, since that leads to mempool congestion issues, transaction relay issues, and point-of-sale and payments unreliable (especially when transactions start being dropped from the mempool)
I simply stated that a Raspberry Pi can handle it, which it can, when it's needed. The evidence is there.
Currently, no chain has enough demand where 256MB is needed, which is why BCH still only has a 32MB block size limit, but maybe in several years assuming crypto usage picks up it will be, and even by then storage and CPUs will be even more efficient and cheaper.
Enjoy your unreliable and slow payments on BTC I guess. In conversation from xmrposter.club permalink -

Yes, as I've already stated, a Raspberry Pi can handle 256MB blocks just fine, as demonstrated on BCH's Scalenet testnet.
