@itsfoss I switched to this app when it was first released, and honestly, I love it. It's very convenient and functional. I'm fine with it being proprietary as long as it respects the Linux community.

@itsfoss What is it like to be Russian? It means using Western computers, phones, and technology while hating Americans and Europeans at the same time. It means invading another country, killing thousands of civilians, demolishing entire cities, yet whining when 11 Russians are removed from the Linux maintainers list.

@itsfoss I am really excited about Zed. The one feature I miss is the ability to open multiple project directories in one workspace like it is realized in VS Code. But, overall, Zed is great .

@itsfoss Thanks for sharing. Warp has been my number one terminal since it was released. Great software! Personally, I don't see a problem with Warp being proprietary cause it's everyone's choice. The toxicity of the community regarding proprietary software on Linux keeps Linux at a lower level of popularity than it deserves. It's a pity.

@itsfoss Fedora has been my daily driver for years. It's a great distro, and I always tend to have the latest stable release. So, yes!

@itsfoss Don't criticize me for mentioning non-opensource app but it is Warp Terminal. I really like it!

@itsfoss It was years ago (00s) when I receives a Live CD along with a Ukrainian PC magazine; I believe it was Ubuntu on it.

@itsfoss The one app I use that doesn't support Wayland at the moment is Upwork tracker. What is more strange is that they used to support Wayland but dropped its support in later version 🤬 Idiotism.

@itsfoss Though my first impression wasn't great, now I can say I really like Warp Terminal. Especially, I like its history search, auto-completion, and ability to retain last outputs in tabs. I think it's decent despite not being FOSS. I understand these complaints, but consider — most of us use non-FOSS phones, for example...

@itsfoss It started for me with a frozen signup screen. Not the best way to make a first impression.

@itsfoss I switched to Fedora from Ubuntu years ago. And my experience is totally different. Never had any problems with Fedora 🤔

@itsfoss I use vanilla GNOME with almost no customizations. The only extensions I use are Legacy (GTK3) Theme Scheme Auto Switcher and TopHat.
