@nixCraft can the firmware be updated somehow or do people have to buy new keys? I don't own one, just curious how it works.

@pixelfed 1.0.0.41 won't install. I noticed the file is now called "pixelfed-for-android-arm64-v1.0.0.41.apk", used to be "pixelfed-for-android-v1.0.0.39.apk". Does the app now require a specific architecture in order to work?
