https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:AIUF3kbmvokJ:annex.retroarchive.org/cdrom/pier-05/036/INSINF/INSTALL.TXT says that i need to copy SF85E4X.BIO to both Install and Disk01. then add "SF85E4X.BIO" to the start of ABIOS.SYS (a text file) on both disks.

Tube🌞Time (tubetime@mastodon.social)'s status on Saturday, 02-Dec-2023 00:35:24 JST Tube🌞Time this is hilarious: the xscreensaver called "bsod" (which i used to use as my screensaver many years ago) has an OS/2 2.0 fake BSOD with many of the same details! same trap address, same BIOS version. wild.

Tube🌞Time (tubetime@mastodon.social)'s status on Saturday, 02-Dec-2023 00:35:24 JST Tube🌞Time i have a funny feeling this is a problem with my DBA-ESDI emulator. also it appears to be corrupting sector writes, so i'll need to solve that problem.

Tube🌞Time (tubetime@mastodon.social)'s status on Sunday, 29-Oct-2023 10:07:35 JST Tube🌞Time i'm using Fiji/ImageJ to do the stitching. basically you go plugins->stitching->grid/collection stitching. then you pick "Filename defined by position" and then use c{xxx}_r{yyy}.jpg" for the file names parameter.

Tube🌞Time (tubetime@mastodon.social)'s status on Sunday, 29-Oct-2023 10:07:34 JST Tube🌞Time and here we are in Kicad 7 using the image overlay feature. it was pretty easy to get it going but the program slows down quite a bit for large images. you'll want to scale them down.
pro tip: add a scale factor in GIMP before exporting so Kicad gets the dimensions right.
