The 3DS eShop had been, there was a homebrew app called FreeShop which let you download the stuff from Nintendo's servers and generated the keys for lanuching the app
i like systemd a lot for server hosting, for my personal machine it's overbloated and why do i need to go through the kernel when i can just have my local demons be started by the WM?
i don't believe in software supremacy, every user has different demands and what works best for their specific use-cases is the best software they can use :blobcathappy: systemd hate is mostly a meme for me, but i think it's undoubtable that systemd has very many features for "just" being the init process
i like my init process to init and to load the minimum amount of kernel modules, run disk decryption and mount from fstab everything else can be done from userspace IMO
Arch can also have some crazy fuckups! That GRUB corruption recently i.e. But I've never had any of problems that wouldn't be easily fixed in a matter of minutes on Arch/Artix for years by now
