Am I talking about unconditional basic income or pre-seed venture capital funding?

Money is like shit. If we spread it around, it functions as fertilizer, enabling incredible ideas to sprout and grow. If instead we just pile it up into mountains, it stinks and all the great stuff that could sprout and flourish is starved of nutrients.

Universal basic income is the good shit.

We worry about providing Universal Basic Income because people might stop working, but here's a thought: maybe, just maybe, with a little financial security, people might actually pursue work they truly choose rather than work to just not die. Imagine that world for a moment.

The 12-year #BasicIncome pilot in Kenya is resulting in tons of new businesses, higher wages, and happier less-stressed out people.
