@kkarhan @GossiTheDog @aral that was certainly my assessment when I worked at the ICO - there's no way valid consent is obtained for cookies set like this, and when it bypasses a choice you've actively made then it's clearly unfair and potentially unlawful.

Professionally I try to explain complicated technical and legal things in simple terms. Otherwise, I largely listen to music and watch cricket while still telling myself that I could still play music and cricket if I just picked up my bass and a bat or a ball every once in a while.Vivaldi user since - well, since it was released?#nobridge seeing as this is apparently something I have to say instead of it being taken as the default.
