     @aral Adobe has a way of bypassing third party cookie protection in all modern browsers - you point a CNAME on your domain at them and they handle the rest.

     @kkarhan @GossiTheDog @aral that was certainly my assessment when I worked at the ICO - there's no way valid consent is obtained for cookies set like this, and when it bypasses a choice you've actively made then it's clearly unfair and potentially unlawful.

     @vmstan @GossiTheDog Aww, I do too. But its time has passed. We need to create defaults we don’t have to protect ourselves from. Better was always a stopgap and (a losing game of) cat and mouse. The Small Web holds the potential for a very different world in the long term. So I’m happy to have my full focus on the latter now :)

     I’m not seeing it with version 108.0 on Fedora Silverblue.

     @vmstan @aral @GossiTheDog I feel the same way and I think about it very often. Better was so dope! I still keep it on my iPhone not only for sentimental reasons but because it still feels better!
