@DarkMahesvara Oops I didn't record the full run. I just have the replay buffer on OBS to record, rather than the full front-back recording, because I take breaks lol.
I'll play the first 20 minutes normally, then do the last 10 minutes to reach Yagoo, then take a few minutes break every 2-3 minutes after 30mins (Yagoo gets gigantic stat boosts every minute).
Maybe on another attempt I can do it, even if I don't break the high score. Would be cool to get noticed but meh. 😛 -

@DarkMahesvara He talked about it on a reddit post I think, describing exactly what happens when someone gets a rank 1. He gets an email, he goes in, uses an internal process/tool (presumably) to validate, and then curates the leaderboard appropriately. -

@DarkMahesvara It was just to clean up the leaderboard. He gets an email every time someone gets a rank 1, so he goes in and validates it, and also brings any other score placements to his attention.
I don't mind that he purged the other scores; I've taken my pictures, and it's only fair since I beat my old score. Though, if there was an extra drop down menu to see other scores for the same person that would be nice. I don't think it's programmed into the game though; scores are probably just a simple struct of name/score/time/level to save space (since HoloCure is just a simple little fan game and all). -

I think I've hit the theoretical limit for my level of reflexes. With some seriously good RNG, not just on items but also on weapon hit procs, I managed to break 40 mins. However, I really don't think you can survive very long past that with DPS Irys. The serious issue is that her main weapon, also being the weapon that stuns the Yagoos and lets you keep moving around, ends up being slower than you. This becomes prevalent at around the 36 or 38 minute mark, depending on how much Speed Up you have, which requires you to monetarily stop to let the bullets clear a path in front of you. However, combine that with the incredibly high speed you're playing at, and at that point you'd need TAS rng manipulation and reflexes to survive for very long.
Also it helps that you don't run into a wall, get trapped, and die :kek_pain:. The reason I got trapped there was because I tried to move around the incoming bunch of Yagoos, which I think at this point, just touching 3 in a short time frame would insta kill me. There *is* i-frames after getting hit, and it's possible I could've i-framed through with the sheer speed and additional stuns on other live Yagoos, but... ugh, my brain thought I'd run into all 3 and just insta die. Well, I ended up dying trying to skirt around them, but now I think I can finally put this map down :awoo_sweat:.

Kay Yu also purged my 866k high score, so if that were still there I would have taken up top 3 all to myself :zt_laugh: . Ahh... I've been playing this game too much. If I REALLY want to try I could try to break 1mil points, but that... might be another half a minute of survival and I don't think I have the physical ability to do that :akko_weary: . I already have to pause the game every 2 or 3 mins on the Yagoo waves just so that I can play the next minute or two. -

I took Plushie over more damage items because it was so easy to get clipped by the Yagoos at this stage, and... ugh, it certainly shows. Perhaps if I didn't get myself stuck on the benches and took the heal, I might've been able to make it to the 40minute mark.
But hey I dominate Hard 3 on the leaderboard :guraKekw: -

@DarkMahesvara Yeah there are certain strats to get to high end times. Currently it seems like big mama Choco-san is in the lead; some runs are over 50 mins because she can convert enemies to her side. Obviously, that means yagoos that fight other yagoos, significantly increaseing her endurance.
I'm going to try out Choco and see how she plays compared to Irys and Bae. I like Irys and Bae simply because of the playstyle, but... wouldn't hurt to experiment a little, eh? Especially if she got big assets :vajra_smug:

@AstolfoCockVore It's just luck. Once I got it, I had to just play the game well until I got to where I was at 39:14. However, you can easily reroll a box if you play on the Halloween Hard stage; there is one that spawns at the start of the run in between the bleachers at the very north area, between the bleachers and the open wall. -
