This is a bit of a coming out post as a plural (yay?)

There’s no system name as you know it, really.

This is a median dreagenic polyfrag system. However, only very few proper facets are visible to the outside world. If any.

We have learned how to go into blanket self/singlet mode and that’s how it usually goes. Sometimes though… it goes in a different direction.

FACETS/ALTERS/HEADMATES

note that the titles, while come from Homestuck, do not signify the system “theme” and are simply for fun.

The main facet, the core of the world is the one you always see on fedi. Or, most of the time: Gooma or Dan (he/it) - if the post is not signed (and it applies to 99% previous posts), it’s his post. Gooma is the blanket self/singlet mode fella. Dan encompasses a variety of traits of other facets and also draws characteristics from fragments.

Witch of Rage, trauma holder: Anthony (he/him) - he’s upsetting everyone and himself, either by accident on or purpose. he knows no other emotions besides anger, really. the book example of an edgelord. Be careful when interacting with him. (signs with 🔪)

Page of Heart, appellisian: An (it/ze) - handles all the NSFW affairs, also really knows no other emotion besides love and lust. Can get kinky, but ze knows when to hold its horses. (signs with 💕)

Maid of Hope, age regressor: Suni (it) - Age regressor. Please be very patient with it and don’t treat it as if it had adult sapience. Especially do not talk to Suni about heavy topics like politics, even if other headmates wouldn’t mind it. (signs with 🍰)

All of them are adults except for Suni. None of them are humanormative, all of them are queer.

FRONTING 99% of the time the switching happens during the dream, in which the headspace called Dreamlink is accessed. As in, to switch, body has to go to sleep. In rare accidents one can switch during awake time, which is often seen when body is struggling to stay awake or is zoning out for a long time. It is possible for facets to co-front in the back seat, making some of their traits more visible.

HEADSPACE AND FRAGMENTS The Dreamlink is a huge space - nay, a city where one can see all the fragments and dreams inside the body’s mind. It consists of several layers to fit in newer fragments combed from various dreams.

The fragments never front, but some may share their trait when Dan is fronting.

But who are the fragments? They are people (or even entities) that have appeared in the dreams and have been combed into the headspace. It ranges from random people, to family and friends, on celebrities and mystic creatures ending. They can communicate with each other and other facets/alters, but the frequency of messages is so low they don’t stay in memory for long and almost never make it out to the outside world.

There’s a very high amount of fragments in the Dreamlink, so many there’s no way to count them all.
