@mntmn also getting the small pitch jtag adapter might be a good idea. i have had only good experiences with olimex stuff in the past.

@mntmn i recently bought this one: https://www.olimex.com/Products/ARM/JTAG/ARM-USB-OCD-H/, the HL version for wider voltage range to be precise. i also added the extra swd adapter to have all options. it works with openocd, which iirc does armv8.
