@TheEternalBungholio @RetardedServantOfChrist They hate the middle class because that's their perceived bourgeoisie. That a large part of todays Middle Class in western societies is former proles that climbed the ladder through increased social mobility over the past 2 generations is something they don't compute.
It's actually a huge issue in my country, where a large part of proles moved up and less and less people are interested in blue collar jobs. Despite the "the youth is just lazy and doesn't want to get it's hands dirty" narrative, taking on blue collar jobs would mean a step down from their current class, needlessly having to repeat the same move their parents and grandparents did.
I am middle class and I am not very much interested in stepping down for some notion of ""real work"".
This also means the middle to upper class socialists also don't want to step down. Most of them are advocating for change that they would absolutely hate lol -
