another thing that sucked was cool classes that had really shit tests. I took Jazz History which was fun, but the tests had "listening comprehension" sections where the teacher would play a single bar of the beginning of a song and you had to pick what song it was. I would have flunked if I hadn't sat next to the autist that mumbled every letter he was filling in on his test lmao

It was a class taught by a professor that spent like 90% of the year out doing geology and it was a summer class so it was like 2 weeks. Dude did quizzes that were easy if you listened even slightly and just told us all sorts of cool shit, he really genuinely just wanted to show us stuff
