     @lamp it's connected to a piece of shit Anker hub thing connected to a macbook (work PC). MAY be a cheap HDMI or cheap ass screen

     @coolboymew cheap hdmi cables lack extra wires needed to tell the cable is connected, i had this issue with mac mini until i changed the cable to a proper one (you can tell by the cord being noticeably thicker)
