Is there any Mastodon-like ActivityPub software that auto-fetches replies from unfollowed accounts? I'd love to just host my own instance, but I hate that it means you don't see so much content. Does #GoToSocial do this?

In other words, what’s the best #ActivityPub software for a single-user instance?

Something else great about alt text on Mastodon is that it’s useful if the image or video *doesn’t load* because of the fragility of federation.
