@lolgop I’m a fan of mastodon. Lots of people are here to help. @feditips is helpful.
Good to see you by the way.

A lot of people out there are still married to these three talking points:
🔹Things really got going when Jack Smith was appointed. Garland should have appointed him earlier."
🔹"Things got going after the J6 Congressional committees began"
🔹 "Garland sat on his hands for a year."
So I updated my FAQ page to include facts debunking the nonsense, here:

Everything on my timeline is sourced.
Thanks for all the support.
Evidently about 30 servers of wing nuts decided to descend and try to scare me.
I've raised kids. Nothing scares me.
What is surprising is how coordinated they are. So far they've all come from servers on this list: https://seirdy.one/pb/FediNuke.txt
A lot of these accounts were opened today.
They are still finding me. I blocked these two domain names as well.
geofront.rocks
shitpost.cloud
annihilation.social
Adding:
freeatlantis.com
Looks like they all found me today.
If you missed it, I did a thread earlier about the history of rape laws in response to a comment about the E. Jean Carroll case.
This may be what drew their ire.
I think we can safely assume that racists are also misogynists (since their second favorite word had 4 letters and started with "c.")
Anyway, if you're interested in a brief history of rape laws.
Did you know rape was originally a property crime?

I had a post about CWs and that seemed to be mostly where they were descending.
I deleted that post thinking it would make it less likely that any of you would have to see their ugliness. Some are still there. I know there is a way for the administrative account to get rid of them.
Most of the comments I get are worth reading. If you are reading comments from my stuff earlier, and you see pure ugliness, I apologize.
Google told me one was famous for being anti-trans.
They all seemed anti-everything (including good manners. They were definitely anti-good manners.)
My instance also has a few blocked, including Gab.
I blocked Poa.st about a week ago when about a dozen white supremacists from that site started posting on my timeline.
The others I blocked earlier today.
I don't see any reason why I shouldn't do this, so these are the domains I blocked earlier.
Their favorite word began with "n," to give you a sense of who decided to descend on my timeline.
I didn't lose any followers when I blocked these domains, so I assume I didn't accidentally block an innocent domain.
pleroma.narrativerry.xyz
kiwifarms.cc
coolsite.win
cyberstorm.one
detroitriotcity.com
bae.st
decayable.ink
freespeechextremist.com

nicecrew.digital
And: poa.st
His right wing crazies see it because they follow him on Truth Social and other platforms, so the question is whether any of them will answer his call for violence.
Having his threats picked up by main stream media could hurt him at a bail hearing :)
Over the past few hours, my timeline was descended upon by very ugly users who have been spewing profanity and vulgar language.
They obviously have a network and descended en mass.
I just blocked 5 domains and didn't lose a single follower.
Later I'll try to figure out how to remove their posts.
Hopefully I got them all.
Kyle Cheney with Politico tells us that Evan Corcoran is at the D.C. federal court house, presumably handing documentary evidence about how Trump lied to him about location of documents.
Instead of trying to get SCOTUS to intervene in the docs case (which would be futile anyway) Trump has been encouraging violence against Bragg through his Truth Social account.
Here is what we know about Jennifer Little, Trump's other lawyer who will be testifying against Trump
(from the NYTimes):
1/
So evidently Trump lied to Corcoran to produce the results he wanted: obstruct the DOJ investigation.
Going back to Nixon: When Nixon stopped fighting and resigned a few people were really annoyed, including young Steve Bannon and Paul Manafort.
They thought Nixon should have kept fighting.
These right-wing crazies like Trump because he keeps fighting.
Trump is not going to stop fighting, even though fighting now is beyond stupid.
3/
Here is what I find interesting: She counseled Trump to be cooperative, which was the correct advice to give.
Trump cannot be cooperative for reasons I will leave to the psychologists.
She "left the case soon after" which I take to mean that her advice was not acceptable to Trump.
He then brought in Corcoran who would certainly advise Trump to cooperate (because Corcoran is not hopelessly incompetent).
2/
Someone just asked me if delays help Trump.
"Trump's strategy is to delay because this benefits him" is a trope that has to go now that we are moving into criminal law.
Delaying civil cases can mean paying less money.
When you "fight" criminal cases, you get yourself in more trouble and harm yourself, which is why, when clients are in big trouble (the government has the evidence and the potential defendant has no defenses) the best recourse is to cooperate.
5/
Trump doesn't see or accept the inherent power imbalance right now.
He's accustomed to civil cases, where long delays are possible and he's (theoretically) on equal footing with his opponents because civil cases are citizen v. citizen.
Criminal cases are the government against the individual.
The government has the power.
Individuals have constitutional protections because the government has the power.
SoTrump is🎵spitting into the wind and pulling the mask off the old lone ranger🎵
4/
The kind of "fighting" Trump is doing can add to the charges and cause him to be denied bail, etc.
BUT this kind of fighting will appeal to the far-right wing kooks. Why do you think he wants his first campaign rally of 2024 to be in Waco Texas, a symbol of militias fighting the government?
What he won't do (and probably can't do) is behave in a way that would cause him to lose the support of the right-wing gun nuts.
Those are his peeps.

Thanks to the people who said we can probably remove them because we own the server.
I will call a meeting with my technical support staff (my husband) as soon as he is available.
I just blocked a few people who left very offensive comments after I said people who don't like my content should block me.
One involved the 'n' word and other showed a vulgar image. I wish I could remove them.
One feature I miss from Twitter is the ability to remove offensive comments from my timeline.
I am sorry if some of you have to see them.
Most of the comments I receive are interesting and worth reading.
The awesome thing about owning my own website and mastodon server, is that I never have to worry (at least not too much) about the owner of my platform having a manic episode.
I made the article free for you all through my subscription.
