if we never had JavaScript, we never would have had Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter, so the general state of the world and that whole rise of overt fascism thing is honestly kind of JavaScript’s fault when you really think about it

which if I am not mistaken, Flash actually did not run in the browser without user notification or permission and if so, this would have been preferable

too many people in both groups think that machine learning algorithms are in any way comparable to human capacity for creativity, belief, and decision-making @.@
between this and crypto, it would seem that techbro scam culture gets kind of absurd as crypto-“anarchists” push toward becoming the new ruling class
