@masstransitkrow i want to be clear. If I'm surfing the web, and I'm logged into *my* instance, and in surfing, I land on your Fediverse page at *your* instance, then i can't immediately see if I follow you, and to check is not easy or obvious.
That's a serious UX issue. Are you saying that isn't supposed to work? In my opinion that is completely broken and breaks a typical user's expectations.

@masstransitkrow most of what I describe in that post cannot be done by default web apps of each instance. Take as the first glaring example: if I land on your Fediverse page in my browser, I can't tell if I already follow you.
