This sounds absolutely incredible! I always wanted a 1581 drive and gave up hope of ever getting one.
Kind of glad I never got one because this literally sounds like the one C64 disk drive to rule them all. 😂

@feditips it sounds like I have the opposite issue yesterday. I'm on mas.to and have used the multi column interface for over a year.
When I logged in yesterday it was back to a single column. First time that has ever happened. In the upper right corner of the screen I had to toggle 'Advanced Interface' and then everything switched back to my customized multi column mode.
