@foone they obviously ran it with the side off, which was chucked in a store room or under a desk or something

@foone open the control panel, then network, then double click on the network adapter. Now, remove TCP/IP and IPX, making sure that only NetBEUI remains (this was the instructions given in a real NT4 training classroom)
