Scott Miller's insistence on appearing in every rando's replies on Birbsite to insist that Apogee Entertainment (est. as Apogee Software LLC 2008 by Terry Nagy, rebranded as Apogee Entertainment in 2021) is exactly the same company as Apogee Software ltd. (est. in 1987 as "Apogee Software Productions" by Scott Miller) just to get back at essentially himself for selling the "3D Realms" name to a Dutch company that is now his own competitor is just so weird.

86-DOS v0.11 has been found & dumped. It's now the oldest publicly available version.

Every once in a while I remember that the Windows 3.x first person shooter "Bad Toys 3D" from 1995 is still being sold for $9.95:

So there's an SDL implementation of the Titus platformer tech that lets you play Blues Brothers and Prehistorik 2 on modern systems with some customization options. Sadly the main repo has been set to archived, and none of the forks ever published any releases.
Maybe a kind person with everything already installed can compile this, most recently updated, fork and provide a binary publicly?

I do love that ZOOM Platform's (the only digital distribution platform that managed to hold on to the rights to sell old Duke Nukem games after Gearbox's lawsuit) release of Duke Nukem 3D comes with an optional pack that includes not only all commercial expansions, but the official 1997 PORN LEVEL as well!
