Great thoughts here. The only thing I’d note is that, especially if you’re on a small instance, its not always easy to see all of the replies to a post in order to see if you’re reply is something that many others have already said.

@charliebrownau I typically use “Liberty” in the context of being free from government control.

But in the context of “liberty” as it relates to software, there are no outside forces compelling me to use any specific software, they’re all my choice. In the areas where I find them restrictive, I use alternatives or advocate for the lifting of those restrictions. ✌️

If I wanted to run an Umbrel, would it be easier to run and maintain in Docker or just running it natively on an Ubuntu install?
