@ArdainianRight @LovecraftEnthusiast @BowsacNoodle @monsterislandcolonizer @sickburnbro The point I'm making is that Obama's whole platform was not "anti-immigration", he was either neutral on the issue or maybe slightly pro enforcing rules on the books a bit more, depending on when you look at him. That being the case, the fact that Donald "Build a Wall, Deport Them All" Trump could only match Obama in the amount he decreased immigration tells me he doesnt actually give a shit. -

In reality, if you want to track the decrease in immigration, Trump was pretty much on par with Obama.
(This is just using new legal permanent residents as a metric since its the only reliable number) -

Instead, we got a ton of loopholes niggers could use to shorten or straight up avoid prison time. The bar was so low already and he tripped and shitted all over himself. Or he knew where the bar was and intentionally tripped all over it, depending on if you want to treat Trump as a bumbling blowhard or knowing bad actor, dealers choice. -

Which is fine, but also smacks of a short lived, easy to repeal, "compromise", pressure valve for a hot topic issue that is pushing Big Rightoid a bit too far.
And if Im wrong Im wrong, but JD and Trump also dont really have the track record youre looking for on that issue, which for Trump has been silence on all fag shit and the only quote from JD I found was "I dont like it but the issue is dead for now so Im not going to break families apart".
Again, its really my pessimism for American politics, Ive already seen this bit twice already, and Im just not biting this time. -

Just poking around at this guy and Im seeing JD is a race mixxer and a fan of Rob Dreher and Moldbug for his political positions, ie a fag and a jew.
And really hes not saying anything particularly new, "dems want an open boarder for more voters". Sure, so wheres the proposal to stop it JD?
Or him complaining that the "Republican Strategy" is antagonistic to black voters. Thats only going to get you status quo if you consider the 2015 riots as status quo. -

@LostInCalifornia @EvilSandmich @William_The_Dragonborn I think youre conflating the exploitation in "worldwide appeal" with "the made the characters more childlike (which you really still havent proven)" where as the much more reasonable cause of anime's explosion across the globe was that distribution methods became more streamlined (not even to talk about the internet of the 2000s) with CDs, fan-dubbing, etc around that time. -

Far as I know and as far as I can tell, japs always drew things with big eyes, and animation from early disney which inspired a lot of the early stuff had similarly large eyes.
Also, you ascribe the "big eyes" to girls, most anime characters period have large/disproportionate eyes. Its a method to make up for the detail lost in the medium. -
