@arstechnica I’ve been upgrading yearly since the 12, but with the titanium and usb-c, I think that’s all I’ll need for a long time. And of course a yearly upgrade cycle is dumb from an economic and environmental standpoint.

@arstechnica this is the dumbest Ars article I have ever read. I’ve been loving them lately but the ending to this one was literally a cliche carnist “I’m eating an extra burger for every one you don’t!”
Not to mention the greenwashing of the seafood industry.

@arstechnica I used to be super pro self driving cars, but what started changing my mind was the story about a few teenagers screwing with them by placing down traffic cones. It’s a good example of how difficult it will be to keep them moving smoothly even though they don’t understand the human world whatsoever
