   The California Public Utilities Commission voted 3-1 to approve 24-hour service.

     @arstechnica I used to be super pro self driving cars, but what started changing my mind was the story about a few teenagers screwing with them by placing down traffic cones. It’s a good example of how difficult it will be to keep them moving smoothly even though they don’t understand the human world whatsoever

     @arstechnica The robotaxi companies Waymo and Cruise now have permission to offer around-the-clock driverless rides to fee-paying passengers in San Fransisco.
