Ha. Australia gave 12 hours for comments from the public, and received a record number. And still passed it. And then refused to take questions on it during Question Time, in the first round.

There doesn't seem to be a want to have those particular laws grounded in reality.

My first intentional rm -rf / was a complete disaster.

I set up a VM, just to see the chaos first hand. Various things breaking. See how long Linux could just keep running.

... I did not realise that the particular VM had automounted my root drive.

Had a seizure in the checkout. Someone, with all the kindest intentions in the world, called the police to do a Wellness Check.

Please... Please! Don't do this. It disappoints, but the cops are not your friends. A Wellness Check isn't to see if you need help or a carer. It isn't to give you anything. It is to take it away.

Fuuuck. Some of my books have been added to GitHub's AI system, because I backed up the code I used to generate them in the private repositories, whilst keeping my copyright and not using any open source license.
