@itsfoss These include visual fixes that Cinnamon has needed for a long time, and I'm sure Clem's team will have done a great job with them. That being said, for my needs, I'm still #TeamMATE.

@itsfoss I have to use Windows 10 at work and, recently, was issued a laptop running Win11. I'm amazed at how Microsoft continues to make workflow more difficult while any number of Linux distros and DE's continue to make it easier. Coming home to Linux is like leaving the bowels of hell and being greeted by a fresh, cool breeze.

I continue to be flummoxed by stuff like this. I'm on Mastodon Social. @Aviation_Librarian is on Mastodon Online. Both are operated by Mastodon gGmbH (basically, @Gargron). Why in the heck do I now need to click through to see more replies on Mastodon Online? What am I being protected from, especially since Eugen runs both shows? #SMH

What does Mr. Gitlin mean, "for a while"? Waze STILL does that to this very day despite multiple pleas to Google to make it stop.

@arstechnica But not one mention of its new personalized ad tracking with opt-in being the default. I don't expect you to ignore the most popular browser on the planet or making everything a hit piece on Google. That being said, I don't want to see cheerleader pieces, either.

This should say all anybody needs to know about how it was made...by stealing Elvis Presley's voice from copyrighted works. Just in case you actually monitor this account, please avoid stories like this in the future.
