What does Mr. Gitlin mean, "for a while"? Waze STILL does that to this very day despite multiple pleas to Google to make it stop.
@arstechnica there is a particular interstate ramp location an hour away that has to have had a minimum of 200 accidents a year.
Locals know, and adjust their patterns. Those more dependent on Turn by Turn, as visitors to the area, it is a fresh surprise. Often, involving themselves, the newbie.
All mobile maps should adopt and share this metric.
I think there should be signs that say merge left, slow incoming ramp ahead
