This is what people mean by "professional victims". Much of Western progressivism is a grift operation contingent on being perceived as a "victim" or seen as being "victimized". And, widely, this is achieved via stirring up trouble, causing aggravations, or "poking bears" as the saying goes. When, predictably, there is push-back or angry people (who one has knowingly and intentionally pissed off and offended) lash out or retaliate, the grifter feigns ignorance and cries foul: "I'm being attacked! I'm a victim! Look how many bad people there are! I need more support!"
Tried again with ext4 instead of XFS and got the same problem. Whatever. Apparently it's been a "known issue" for 2 years and the proposed solutions are more work than I'm willing to put in. Fuck Void, I guess. Heard good things, wanted to try it, but for various errors I've never succeeded in getting it installed to a system. It's always been something. A distro that jank ain't worth the time.
Boring, but I guess I'm going to just throw openSUSE Tumbleweed onto this machine too. Maybe with a lighter weight DE or something. Like a minimal installation. Idk.
@eemmaa It's weird how you kind of need an a market-hostile state for capitalism-in-theory to function and exist because otherwise capitalism is its own worst enemy and will immediately devolve into corruption and oligarchy. The less brakes you put on that train the faster it derails itself. @dcc@annihilation.social
@dcc@annihilation.social How are you doing it? I have vcard4 + vcard_legacy enabled, in addition to this community module for vcard_muc. I can set my avatar without issue. Just no way to set a group avatar.
