There is a rift between Nazis. Some want to normalize it and flaunt it. Others want to keep it on the down low and grow under the radar. It is not surprising for folks at CPAC to introduce themselves to journalists as Nazis and other individuals to vehemently deny Nazis are there, as they are clearly all partying together. Don't be fooled-- they are all Nazis.

I just spent $90 on the pet poison hotline, so let me pass this info on for free to others. My 70 pound/31 kilogram dog is in the danger zone of kidney failure and death after eating 5 raisins and may not show symptoms until it's too late, which is about 12 hours later. He ate more than that, so he's off to the emergency clinic. Raisins sit in the stomach for a while in dogs his size-- about 5 hours. Even vets don't know the dosage that is dangerous (they usually call and pass the charge on to you), and I am surprised it is that few raisins that can be deadly. Don't fuck with raisins.

Schools are completely unserious about bullying. They teach kids to stand up for themselves but when they do, they are punished for it. Put your fist in the air...but never actually use it. It's just for show, you know. Unserious.

I think it's so funny when people admonish others for not voting when those are the people most active in the community doing real things that help others (anarchists). I don't do that as much. I vote to make myself feel like I'm doing something when my ass is at home voting for someone else's oppressor and patting myself on the back.

I often see some liberal tell an anarchist that everything is their fault for not voting, but I personally know this or that anarchist is out sharing cooked breakfast with homeless encampments every morning, organizing community events around mutual aid, etc. Like, things that are so much more impactfull than canvassing for... *checks notes*...Joe Biden.

@kkarhan I feel like people should earn their fucking votes if voting is to mean anything. Not voting is a vote sometimes.

@kkarhan but what if you are against everything it stands for and don't want to give power to anyone? Then you are enabling it by voting. Why not concentrate on creating ways to not need them?

There is a trans girl in my son's 5th grade class who officially transitioned in 4th grade (edited to say this means coming out with her name and pronouns, not surgery, which some people in the comments misunderstood as surgery). She's been in class with him since preschool, and she has always presented as a girl but changed her name and pronouns last year. All the kids had the attitude of "it's about time" because it felt awkward to them to refer to her as a boy in the first place, and all the kids fiercely defend her from anyone who misgenders her. As they all approach puberty, I am so thankful she is going to get the puberty she identifies with because of the state we live in. Looking at her class photos and how feminine she presents and looks makes me think about kids like her in other states who will have to experience the wrong puberty, and it makes me blanch with horror.

I onced leaked salaries at my place of employment and took credit because someone else was getting blamed. At my disciplinary hearing, I was told that I was guilty of destroying morale amd creating a toxic workplace environment in that it was pitting workers against one another. I corrected them that workers became closer than ever-- we bonded over it. It pitted us against management, so it would be in their own best interest to pay fairly. I didn't last long, y'all. 😂
