@aral if the EU systems, fund creating these people, I don't see an issue with them moving to the USA, because the starter pipeline is healthy.

Let the USA drown itself in VC backed debt.

There are of course lots of EU companies who don't care about VC nightmares, and are quite happy.

To be clear, I was not suggesting Aral personally takes money from EU funding projects.

I think (and I re-read my post) I suggested folks moving to USA that start successful ventures are only adding to their nation increasing debt burden. Even when "successful", they collectively couldn't wipe out that debt burden.

I went on to suggest VC money isn't the only model.

I Agree the EU should fund Libre software (as an ideal) and Open software where there are no Libre alternatives.

Yeah I couldn't precisely preserve palette like this so I use convert to 'RGBA' and then again to what I want. It may produce a new palette. I am unsure if they are deterministic.

Are you trying to do some clever 1980's tricks with the palette?

I Had errors like this on an AMD Radeon card after a year, and it turned out to be shitty software. It cost me a heap (new RAM, power) to find out that a stupid driver update was the cause and by editing some files I could have the kernel overcome that.

If the RAM tests say it's fine, it might be crap software.
