@Haakon Meland Eriksen (Parlementum) usually i write about new features in the release annoucements. I had a disk failure a year or two ago and posts prior to this are not available at my channel anymore. They might still be around on other hubs though. Otherwise there is the official changelog. This would need some filtering though i guess... -

@𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 might be that playstore is not required. But chrome does some woodoo which other chromium based browsers strip off. I guess for a reason... -

It is not about the manifest it is about playstore integration. There is nothing we can do about... -

@Witcraft (Hubzilla) AFAIK Hubzilla PWA works with chrome on stock android (have tested it some time ago). It will however never work on phones which do not have google (play) on their phones since this seems to be a hard requirement. -

@phanisvara (streams) imo there is no point to use the app if you need to go to the browser anyway. Or you could upload with rcx (which will only upload the file to a folder) and compose the post later.
Best would be if someone could hack the app so you could also post some text with the uploaded file :thinking: -

@_jayrope the alt text is set to the uploaded file name if it's an image. The app itself does not provide a field for alt text. -

I recently stumbled upon #^https://github.com/SrS2225a/custom_uploader which is a simple app to share files with hosting services. The app is available via FDroid #^https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.nyx.custom_uploader/
It is very simple to configure a custom uploader for Hubzilla:
1. Press the cog button
2. Press the + button to add a new uploader
3. Select POST as method
4. Enter the upload URL https://channelname:password@hub.example.com/api/z/1.0/item/update
5. Set Form Data Name to media
Done.
Sharing a file with this uploader will result in a post to your default privacy group with the file attached or embeded if it's an image.
You could also add a custom text to your upload if you add the body upload parameter or even configure a privacy group to post to if you want.

I have just added the possibility to modify bootstrap via sass in redbasic. This finally allows channels to change the primary color. Sysadmins have more possibilities to customise bootstrap: https://getbootstrap.com/docs/5.3/customize/sass/ -
