If X11 is a "security concern" then maybe creating a whole new product and launching it in a broken state wasn't the right answer (Wayland is an absolute nightmare for me, but for other reasons, so I share some of your pain).

If there are "AI"-generated images designed to mislead people about the upcoming election, then posting them all over social media as examples of how awful the other guys are is actually doing their work for them.

At the very least mark the images as sensitive.

One way we can write better shared code is to make the "shape" of the code communicate how it is intended to be used.

In C++, this can be as simple as having proper const-correctness or declaring the correct mix of copy, move, and assignment operations for your class.

But there's a principle I like to call "implicit code contract" that you can apply throughout your code that will make it a lot more usable and maintainable (remember that "someone else using my code" could be you in two years).

If you want to know the root cause of any inter-ethnic strife or genocide in the modern world, "the British" is usually a pretty safe bet.

Even acknowledging the dick-measuring (figurative and literal) and strutting about from these absurd billionaire manchildren lends credence to the core ideas of the current hypermasculine neofascist movement.

I do not care about Musk's hog, or how ripped Zuckerburg suddenly is, or who would win in a fight. Men with unlimited money and free time can surely mold their bodies to whatever ideal is fashionable to their most base worshippers.

The only valid reaction to any of this is revulsion.
